India Film Week 2026 is presented by the India Film Festival of Alberta in association with the Consulate General of India, Vancouver.

The program features a selection of films for audiences in Edmonton, reflecting the diversity of storytelling from India and the Indian diaspora. The screenings include classic films, contemporary works, and independent cinema, offering audiences a chance to experience different styles and voices in filmmaking.

The program is also organized with deep appreciation for senior members of the community, giving them the opportunity to watch beloved classics once again on the big screen, including restored and digitally colourized versions that many remember from earlier generations.
